The 11th New York Regiment is honored to provide Military Funeral Honors for veterans and their families throughout the New York Metropolitan area and Long Island. Our mission is to ensure that every service member is remembered with the dignity, respect, and recognition they deserve.

REQUESTING MILITARY HONORS

If you are planning a veteran’s funeral and would like the assistance of our regiment, we ask that you provide the following information to help us coordinate our services:

Name and phone number of the person making the request
Name, rank, and branch of service of the deceased
Date, time, and location of interment
Name and phone number of attending funeral home

Submitting this information in advance allows us to assemble the appropriate team, which may include a firing party, bugler for the sounding of Taps, and assistance with flag folding and presentation. Our goal is to provide a seamless and meaningful tribute, offering comfort and support and support to families during this difficult time.

Requests for Military Funeral Honors must be arranged through the appropriate branch of service, either by contacting the respective Military Honor Guard office or through a Funeral Director.

Please note that proof of military service (form DD214) is required by all branches of the U.S Military in order to receive honors.
